(This Imagining is a continuation of the imagining started on July 18th, 2010, and can be found here: Quality is Life)

And it is through this living that one reaches quality. Living life, as Chinwin puts it, was the only way to attain a sense of quality. One could not have quality by subverting one’s desires and wishes. One had to do quite the opposite. Trees with intricate branch patterns in the form of fractals. Leaves with a multitude of green. Flowers as far as the eye could see. Monkeys swinging through the top of the forest. Snakes slithering with the sand. Dolphins swimming in the ocean. Birds gliding through the air. Insects flying from surface-to-surface. Reptiles perched near the shore of freshwater. Life was happening everywhere in every moment. No matter where one looked, life was there to look back at them. Webolie (pronounced web-ole-ee) couldn’t remember the last time that it rained so hard. She literally, couldn’t remember. This was odd to her as she usually had a good memory. She surmised the irony of the situation because the rain seemed to coincide with what seemed to be a strange time in her life – almost as if nature was conspiring to add pathetic fallacy to her life. Even though this seemed to be, Webolie knew that this was not the case.

Haleinda (pronounced ha-lee-un-day) was lying under shelter as she watched the rain pouring to the ground. It was as if the rain hadn’t seen the Earth in a really long time and it was trying to do all of its catching up at once. It was quite extraordinary, she thought, to see this wonderful display of awesome power, because the rain really was powerful. The rain could knock down trees. The rain could collect as water and then move extremely heavy objects like boulders from being in the way. Nothing was able to hold up against rain when it really had a purposive act.
