Looking up at the size of this great entity was breathtaking. From where he stood, he could not see the top of its glorious-ness. All he knew was that it went up and up and up! Casually she walked along. She had no particular destination – just walking. Villom (pronounced vill-uhm) enjoyed walking with no place to go. She loved to let the snow crunch beneath her feet. The sound it made always made her giggle just a little. With each step she took, the sound would repeat itself and in kind, so would the giggling. The giggling would gradually escalate until with each step she took, she was full-on laughing out loud. To anyone else, there was nothing funny. To Villom, everything was funny. And why not, right? Why not laugh for the sake of laughing?

Trees with intricate branch patterns in the form of fractals. Leaves with a multitude of green. Flowers as far as the eye could see. Monkeys swinging through the top of the forest. Snakes slithering with the sand. Dolphins swimming in the ocean. Birds gliding through the air. Insects flying from surface-to-surface. Reptiles perched near the shore of freshwater. Life was happening everywhere in every moment. No matter where one looked, life was there to look back at them. Be it through the eyes of a fellow animal or through the being-ness of a tall tree, small shrub, or fragrant plant. Life was alive.
