Freivo and the wolf continued to walk down this new path. Freivo looked down at the wolf walking beside him and the wolf looked back up at him. If wolves could smile, that is what Freivo would have seen because the wolf was exuding joy for his friend, Freivo. Even though Freivo couldn’t see a smile on the wolf’s face, he still knew that he was happy to be in his presence. Freivo knew this because as he looked at the wolf, he could see a pinkish hue around the outside of the wolf. It was almost as if this hue represented a love that the wolf was displaying… a love for Freivo.

One of his favo[u]rite things to do was float on the water in a very inconspicuous way. Delvin (pronounced dell-vinn) would gently nudge his kayak into the water and quickly climb into it before it got too far away from him. He would pick up his paddle and begin to propel his way out into the open water. The shore was nice, but there was so much to be explored out in the open water. It was like he was a discoverer and he was going to chart new grounds on the water. Delvin was going to explore new territory that no one had ever seen. He very much liked the idea of sliding into the water and going places no one had seen. He liked being able to imagine himself being the first human to see some of the nooks and crevices that he got to see.

Anavera (pronounced ann-uh-veer-uh) was lying face-up on the Earth looking up at the sky. Lying on the ground with her spine fully erect was something she thoroughly enjoyed doing. Being on the ground was like being in a different axis, plane, or dimension. She was completely free. She imagined that how she felt when she was lying on the ground was how people felt way back when they used to go up to space in ‘rocket-ships.’ She remembered reading that they felt like they were weightless (not to be confused with massless). When she lied on the ground, she felt like she was weightless. She felt like she could move her arms and legs in any which way and there was no ‘force’ acting upon her.

Today was to be the day. Little did Fidaole (pronounced feh-dow-lee) know that her parents had been waiting for this day for quite some time, but how could she know this when she was still getting used to what it felt like to live inside a body? Fidaole was playing in the grass, while her parents watched from afar. This was how most of Fidaole’s time was spent – exploring. She was allowed the opportunity to do pretty much whatever she wanted and given that she was still a baby, she wasn’t going to go off too far. Nonetheless, her parents were adamant about letting Fidaole do what it was that she wanted to do when she wanted. It was their opinion that Fidaole was not their baby, but just a gift that they were looking after until she was old enough to completely take care of herself.
