Moving to the Feeling November 2, 2010

Brindea (pronounced brin-dee-uh) found himself walking along a path. He was on his usual path, one that he walked every morning. Upon waking up, he felt compelled to connect, physically, with the natural world around him, and the best way that he saw fit to do that was to literally connect with the natural world around him by walking around and within the natural world around him. Yes, the natural world was something that was very near and dear to the heart of Brindea. It was something that he felt was important to let know that he felt very deeply about it. Responding in kind, the natural world seemed to feel very deeply about Brindea, too.

Keeping with the time, Brindea walked past the trees and ‘felt’ for them. He walked past the leaves and ‘felt’ for them. He walked past the many different kinds of plants and ‘felt’ for them. When Brindea would stop and ‘feel’ for these plants, he wasn’t doing it in a sad or pessimistic way, no. He stopped in front of these various natural things to acknowledge their presence and existence in the world. He stopped to let them know that he knew that they were there and that he cared that they were there. He stopped to give them… love.

As Brindea did this, he made sure not to appreciate any one particular species more than the other. He knew that they were all part of the same species – nature – and that this was the ultimate appreciation. Knowing that everything all came from the same place and that everything really was one place and that everything was connected… Brindea knew this and he felt this.

Walking down the path, he began to notice something in the distance. As he got closer to it, he realized that there was a massive boulder in his path. Somewhat confused by this, as he had never seen it there before, he pondered what to do about it. Should he move it? Should he walk around it? Was it there for a reason? Was the reason relevant? Lots of question for Brindea to ponder. He sat down next to the boulder to allow guidance to emerge from within himself. It was something that he was accustomed to doing and something that he grew to rely on – his intuition.

Sitting there and appreciating the nature near the boulder in the path seemed to spark the idea in Brindea that he should move the boulder. Normally, he wouldn’t disrupt nature, but he felt very strongly about moving the boulder. He felt that this boulder was there specifically for him to move it. Because of that, he gathered his might and pushed the boulder to the side of the path. As he did that, he noticed that there was something that the boulder was covering up. Something that the boulder had, kind of, been guarding.

Brindea knelt down to the place where the boulder had covered and noticed that there was something that was glowing. It was glowing with a yellow hue. It seemed almost that it was angelic in nature. It was like nothing that Brindea had ever seen before. He picked it up and as he did, he felt an enormous sense of love course through his body. He felt an immediate sense of calmness and relaxation. It was as if this thing that Brindea picked up was meant to be… Regardless, Brindea maintained a grasp on the object and continued to feel the feelings of wonderful-ness. While these feelings continued, Brindea heard a voice inside his head.

This is for you, Brindea. You deserve this feeling. You deserve to feel love. You deserve to feel calm. You deserve to feel relaxation. Cherish this feeling and remember it. It is something that you will always have the ability to call upon whenever you wish.

What was the yellow thing? How does it bring in those feelings in him?

TheIntentionalSage - November 8, 2010

It brings him those feelings because that’s what it was meant to do… as for what the yellow thing is, that’s for you (and everyone else) to decide. 🙂
