Jablawae (pronounced jah-blah-way) made music. That is what he did. Whenever he had spare time (which was often), he would sit down and imagine in his mind a large band such that he was part of them, and music was being made. It was one of his favorite things to do and as it was one of his favorite things to do, why wouldn’t he find more and more time to do it? Wouldn’t you want to do your favorite thing as often as possible?
That is how Jablawae felt. Music was his favorite thing to do, so he did it. In particular, he liked learning about all of the different instruments native to the different parts of the world. He knew that on the Australian continent that didgeridoo’s were pretty popular and that on the North American continent, flutes and drums were pretty popular. He wondered what it would be like if all of the natives of different lands got together and made music together with the instruments of their land.
Because Jablawae was so curious, he decided that he was going to sit down and imagine what it would be like because he knew that imagining something like that was as good as planning for the occasion to occur. Meaning, when he imagined something, it almost always later happened in ‘real-life.’ The only times that this wasn’t the case for Jablawae was when something better than he could have imagined came to pass.
So, Jablawae looked for a good piece of grass to lie down on and he closed his eyes. He took some deep breaths, and he began to imagine what he wanted. . .
