Cinidia (pronounced see-nee-dee-uh) sat on the heel of the shore as the surf rolled in up to his toes. His eyes looking out over the horizon and seeing nothing but ocean. It was a magnificent sight for him – ocean as far as the eye could see. There was something about the waves for Cinidia that was so calming. It never really dawned on him just what it was, but that wasn’t important. To him, being with the water, the ocean, and the waves, that was what was important to him. Especially the waves…

Tocano (pronounced toe-cah-noh) was sitting cross-legged near the shore. For some reason, he always found that he was able to do his best thinking here. Maybe it was the sand, maybe it was the ocean, maybe it was the waves. He didn’t really need to know what aspect of this spot allowed him to come to such brilliant conclusions. Maybe it was the whole of the area combined. That is to say, maybe it was the waves and the sand and the ocean all put-together. Regardless, he liked it here, so he kept coming back.

Wilinre (pronounced will-in-ree) sat cross-legged on the soft dirt as he looked out over the landscape. There was a gentle slope down towards where the beach was, but he couldn’t see the sand from where he sat. There was an abundance of trees gathered in the area obstructing the line of sight. However, he could see the ocean above the trees. He chuckled as from this perspective, it almost looked as if the ocean was on top of the trees, but he knew that not to be true from his experience swimming in the ocean. However, it was rather odd to him, to think that the ocean could be on top of the tree. Wilinre thought about this for a moment and then he made a decision.

Jinbilia (pronounced gin-bill-ee-uh) was walking along the beach. The sand holding her feet as she stepped from place-to-place. She always enjoyed walking along the beach and listening to the waves crest and fall into themselves. The water was a lovely and relaxing place for her. Today, she thought that it would be exciting to visit the coral. She couldn’t remember the last time she had swam deep into the water to look at the coral. In fact, she was so motivated to see the coral that she stopped her walking down the beach and began walking into the water.

Mavinci (pronounced ma-vin-chee) loved to swim. Whenever she would get into the water, be it a stream, river, lake, or the ocean, it was as if she was a fish. There was something about the connection that Mavinci shared with the water that became quite evident once she was emerged in it – or maybe more accurately – merged with it. Not only was it clear to anyone who happened to be so lucky to see Mavinci swim, but she also felt it, too. When she swam, she knew that something was going on. She knew that there was more to what was happening then what she could see with her eyes.
